Milk Curry (우유커리)

1/2 cup oil
240g minced meat (pork or beef)
110g carrot
280g onion
140g potato
150g zucchini
8 cups milk (1cup=120ml)
240g curry powder
Some chives
Pepper and red pepper powder

1. Cut carrot, onion, potato, zucchini into small pieces

2. In a large, heavy saucepan, heat the oil. Add onion, minced meat and stir-fry on a medium heat until the meats are cooked.

3. Add potato and carrot and stir-fry together until potato is cooked.

4. Add zucchini, red pepper powder, pepper and stir-fry until all ingredients are cooked well but not too much.

Red pepper powder can be used to suit individual tastes. You could start with 1-2 teaspoons and try!

5. Pour milk and curry powder, mix well and cook over low heat until the milk starts to boil and turn off the heat.

6. Serve with steamed/cooked rice or bread, noodles...


This has been the favorite dish of my son which provides him delight during the long term of remote learning staying at home!
